BEST 5 FILMS OF 2018 - BOLLYWOOD

5 BEST BOLLYWOOD FILMS OF 2018:

An exceptional Year - Big films failed, 'Small' turned to be giant. 2018 proved Content is important, not its budget, starcast or glittering pseudo cover.

Without any long prelude let's find the 5 jewels of 2018

1. ANDHADHUN
From every corner, undoubtedly Andhadhun is the best thing of 2018. A brilliant film with exception storyline, narrative, flow, direction, acting, editing & Music. Sriram Raghavan had gifted us a 'perfect' cinematic experience. Hats off!

2. BEYOND THE CLOUDS
The Iranian legend Majid Majidi came to Bollywood & made a masterpiece. A heart melting creation with a rustic treatment which shows the layers of relationship brilliantly. Classic!

3. BADHAAI HO
Not a niche art film, not a typical family drama, Badhaai Ho is a perfect mixture. A terrific film making which is deep, humorous yet funny with social values. Perfect!

4. BLACKMAIL
A rare film with exceptional black humour with engaging story line, Irfan Khan's terrific screen presence. Abhinay Deo had made one of the better films of 2018. A crazy ride!

5. TUMBBAD
Horror could be gorgeous also. A thriller with otherworldly set, brilliant visual, spine chilling tone & a much needed moral (which horror flick should have). A never forgettable experience!

HONOURABLE MENTIONS: There are some more brilliant film which are equally classic. The Social giant PADMAN, weird yet beautiful romance PARI, the slow poison OCTOBER, Visually Magnum opus ROBOT 2 (2.0) etc.
The audience chose the films which deserve to be chosen. So the audience are the winners. The time has come for Bollywood, especially for the big film makers to change their stream. Hope 2019 will give us more masterpieces.
