"INSIDIOUS : THE LAST KEY"

🔶Plot Summary:
Brilliant parapsychologist Elise Rainier receives a disturbing phone call from a man who claims that his house is haunted. Even more disturbing is the address -- 413 Apple Tree Lane in Five Keys, N.M. -- the home where Elise grew up as a child. Accompanied by her two investigative partners, Rainier travels to Five Keys to confront and destroy her greatest fear -- the demon that she accidentally set free years earlier.
🔶Goods:
For which Insidious series is known,the 4th installment has also 2-3 good scary scene.Its more an entertainer than a horror film.I enjoyed Tucker-Specs comic time more than the scary parts.The film didn't describe any Mythological datas of other world,that is a relief.
🔶Bads:
Well,if you expecting a spine-chilling horror,Insidious 4 is not so scary at all.The plot slowly falls at the usual horror story Line.It defenitely has some twists,but all are little bit predictable.After a mediocore run,the film fully fails to dig deep at the climax.No hidden mystry,no hidden scare.Lack of character-mood detailing.Uncertain, uninteresting & unsatisfying.
🔶Performace:
Lin Shaye as usual acts brilliantly.She was the only reason for stick to the chair.Her assistant duo Angus-Leigh are also fabolous & enjoyable.The rest casts play minor roles decently but not brilliantly.
The story by Leigh Whannell was little bit dissappointing.Plot was not gripping at all.With a weak script Adam Robitel
couldn't tackle his 2nd film.He tried to maintain the potency but failed.The cinematography(Toby Oliver),costumes,Light,sounds etc are decent enough.

Horror music specialist Joseph Bishara was appionted.And as usual he scored brilliant .The scary sound effect & haunting melodies are beautifull.Waiting for official OST release.

Well if you don't like horrors & didn't see first 3 instalment,so skip it.But if you are a horror or Insidious Fan,then you have already watched it.If not,watch at your own risk.The team should now come with fresh elements avoiding the 5th Installment!
So as first film of 2018,A bad start.Hope we can see a great horror film soon.Till then take care & stay tuned with us.
